Jason Adams, CFI


Jason Adams, CFI, is an instructor with Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc. (WZ). Jason retired from the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer, where he spent the last 13 years of his 22-year career as a Counterintelligence Special Agent. After his military service, Jason served with the Sumter, SC, Police Department as a Field Training Officer for two years before accepting a position with Walmart as an Asset Protection Manager for multiple stores in the central-South Carolina area. Jason now resides in his home state of Texas, where he owns and operates a private investigations company. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration and an undergraduate certificate in Advanced Cyber Security from the University of Phoenix.  

Jason has accumulated over 20 years of investigative experience. During his military tenure, Jason planned, conducted, and supervised strategic and tactical-level counterespionage and counter-terrorism investigations and operations worldwide. His experience has included joint investigations with the Federal Bureau of Investigations, US national-level intelligence agencies, local law enforcement agencies, as well as intelligence and law enforcement agencies around the world. Following his military service, Jason continued his investigative career through law enforcement, where he focused on investigating criminal matters. Later, Jason became involved in private-sector investigations ranging from large-dollar employee theft to worker’s compensation claims to contractor fraud. 

Jason has also served extensively as an instructor for investigation operations in the military, public, and private sectors. Jason’s experience includes instructing numerous iterations US intelligence collectors, law-enforcement officers, private investigators, and loss prevention personnel on the full investigative cycle from intake to interviewing to court testimony.
