Exam Study Options

The candidate may elect to sit for the examination using his personal experience and knowledge as the basis for preparation. CISA strongly recommends the candidate reviews reference materials and not simply rely on personal experience and knowledge.
The candidate may choose to use the Wicklander-Zulawski & Associates, Inc. Certified Forensic Interviewer Review Program. The computer-based review program covers all the sections and tasks identified as being necessary to be a CFI by the national survey. The printable text sections provide the candidate the information necessary to successfully complete the tasks listed under each of the separate sections in the content outline. There is an online self test at the conclusion of each module, so the candidate can assess his understanding of the material. The questions are linked back to the pertinent text material so they may be easily reviewed and the correct response to the question understood. The CFI Prep course is active for 6 months. How can I receive WZ training if I have travel restrictions?
If you are looking for CEU credits, additional training, or further development in your interviewing skills WZ currently offers the below remote training options.
How has this situation impacted normal business operations for WZ?
Based on governmental mandates as well as following precautionary measures to protect the wellbeing of our team and our clients, we have closed our office in Aurora, Illinois. Although our physical office will be closed, our team is still at work to support the needs of our clients. Our phone line will be transferred to the remote staff and we will still be available via email info@w-z.com.
Due to the closure of the office as well as restrictions on travel and shipment, please understand any delay in the delivery of expected merchandise or supplies from WZ.
Are any WZ training seminars being canceled or postponed?
We are evaluating every training event relative to the location, size of the class, and guidance by local government officials.

What if an upcoming open registration, in-person training is canceled?
If a WZ open registration, in-person training program is canceled due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19 you may transfer the registration to another class (in-person or virtual), obtain credit for future use, or request a full refund.
What precautionary measures is WZ taking?
We are actively evaluating any opportunity to employ additional precautionary measures to ensure the well-being of our attendees and staff. This includes discussions around social distancing with our instructors as it relates to role-plays in the training, the registration process, and other interactions that attendees may normally have with each other.
What if my company has imposed a travel ban and I can’t attend my training?
Please call 800-222-7789 and dial 4 to be rescheduled into a training session later this year or have your credit held for a future session through April 2021.
How can attendees help to ensure the training is in a healthy environment?
We ask that all attendees take precautionary measures and assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. If you are feeling ill, please take care of yourself and, out of respect for other attendees, we ask that you do not attend the training seminar.
